Rock the Cotswolds Conference at Elmore Court

Rock the Cotswolds Conference at Elmore Court

Rock the Cotswolds is a social enterprise that puts the cool in the Cotswolds. Shattering the illusion that the county is all tweed and chocolate boxy, what better place to have it than the epitome of this new business energy than Elmore Court.

Oli Christie, Founder of RTC said:

‘When we set out to launch our first business conference: Rock’tober, we always knew we wanted to try and do something different and unique and “un-business-conference-like”. And we hoped we achieved that with Business Rocks the Cotswolds at the very cool Elmore Court.’

The exclusivity of the venue also gave them free rein to run the whole day exactly how they wished. They had delicious looking bespoke canapés made by local business, Lovebites and beanbags and large screens were put up in the Gillyflower to use for the presentations.

Guests arrived for teas and coffees, served in the Gillyflower, for little networking before the five presentations began.

To make use of the venue, a second stage was created at the back for the afternoon panel/ Q&A sessions before the bubbles were poured, presents shared and books were signed.

Testimonials taken from this write up:

“All too often one leaves a business conference or other ‘networking’ event with a couple of largely irrelevant business cards and an overwhelming sense of time wasted and disappointment.

Not so, Business Rocks. Lively, fun, relevant, engaging speakers, surprisingly contemporary venue and nibbles, and such interesting people to talk with afterwards.”

“A brilliant event………the quality of all the speakers was outstanding and great venue 10 out of 10.”

“Really enjoyed the event yesterday, wonderful location too. It was good to meet your team team and hear all about your great work in the Cotswolds. Thoroughly enjoyed the talks too.”
